Written Articles
Since 2017 the online fibre community has been discussing issues of racism, lack of diversity and representation of BIPOC or black, indigenous and people of color. Two articles I wrote for Knitting Magazine; Black People Do Knit published in issue 187 and a follow up piece A Colourful Debate published in issue 196 look at how those discussions evolved and how at last the craft industry is starting to recognise the existence and talent of people of colour working within it.
